My name is Dottie Fulginiti and I am running for re-election to the Easton Board of Selectmen. My husband and I have lived in Easton for more than 20 years. We have an 18 year old son and a 15 year old daughter who both attend Easton schools. I own a small business selling technology products to a global client base.
The last three years have been an incredible experience. During my time on the Board, we have undertaken large infrastructure projects such as pavement management, sewer and intersection improvements.  I have worked to improve communication with residents by introducing an online visual budget and a new and improved budget presentation. I have strived to find ways to enhance town services within a tight budget with initiatives like the Massachusetts Community Compact, a state program which will help the town find inefficiencies, discover potential cost savings and allow Easton to be eligible for a variety of state grants.

I have worked hard to collaborate with my fellow Selectmen, the School Committee, and other town boards to find ways to save money and provide services more efficiently. I approach each opportunity with an open mind. I put a lot of thought, time and research into every vote I take seeking out input from Easton residents and organizations.
By meeting personally with legislators and state officials including Governor Charlie Baker, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito and Attorney General Maura Healey, I have worked to strengthen Easton’s relationship at the state level. These relationships have allowed me to discover and take advantage of state-sponsored programs, funding and grants.

I am running for re-election because I believe in:

* Respect for our residents and business community
* Responsible and strategic economic growth to help boost our tax base
* Sound and thoughtful stewardship of our tax dollars
* Continued support for Public safety
* A commitment to improving the high quality education and excellent

  reputation of our schools

Like many others, we moved to Easton because we wanted to raise a family in a safe community with excellent schools, beautiful open spaces, and great town services. We appreciated the Sheep Pasture, Borderland, the Library, and all the other great landmarks with rich history and world-class architecture.
I am passionate about my community and the work that I have done to maintain the unique character of Easton. I want to ensure that residents continue to enjoy the quality of life they have come to expect and deserve.
For the past three years, I have sincerely enjoyed serving the residents of Easton and I respectfully ask for your vote on Tuesday April 26th.
